RIP Republican Party. The Tea Party Candidates and the Traditional Republicans (RHINOS to some) have torn it asunder. Of Course the Main Stream Media via CNN quoted unnamed sources to signal the end as O’Donnell trounced Castle in Delaware’s Republican Primary:
“Until she [O’Donnell] demonstrates some viability in the polls we are not going to have any money for her,” a top Republican official told CNN. “It is now incumbent on Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint and the Tea Party Express to help support her. They got her here. Now make it happen.”
The era of extreme competition among selfish public prima donna politicians is upon us. Neither faction in the Republican Party is thinking beyond the primary or beyond this fall for that matter. Where was the war council among the factions? Where was the Republican renewal retreat going into this election? Where is the huge tent Reagan built for all Republicans? That tent full of Republicans was the winning mix. Who will bring it back? And what is the next step beyond freezing Tea Party candidates from GOP monies – not allowing them to run as Republicans?
Whoever that unnamed source CNN used was, he/she was not thinking. Sarah Palin has been working to raise funds for the Republican Party. Should she end this? Should she stop working with the Republican Party? Will the GOP force the Tea Partiers to form a third party?
So what’s the game plan to overcome all of this? If neither GOP faction can bring the Party together; how can any faction hope to bring the country together?

The Republican party better wake up, and quickly. The people are speaking, and neither of the official parties are doing too well, although the R’s are doing better than the D’s. (No such thing as a Tea Party Dem, but there are several Tea Party Repubs.) The people want smaller government, they want an America like it’s supposed to be.

I worry the Republicans will not let Tea Party Republicans run as Republicans.

Here’s an awesome quote by Josh Painter over on Texas for Sarah Palin:
“This is disgraceful behavior. The grassroots is going to have to completely take over the Republican Party and throw these corrupt bums out. But we will do it. The GOP will be the party of Reagan again if we have to drag every one of these sour old power-addicted ruling class elitists kicking and screaming out the door.”
I think it’s really more about the Tea Party letting certain Republicans remain with the GOP.

Let’s hope so. And let’s hope that America knows for all time the Tea Partiers are not members of the extreme right.

And let’s hope that America knows for all time the Tea Partiers are not members of the extreme right.
Here’s proof of that from the “Land of Fruits & Nuts”:
Approximately 30% of Californians, which is about 11.2 million people, are either affiliated or strongly affiliated with the Tea Party. These number really surprised the heck out of me.

Hi, MR. There is a blog called Temple of Mut on WordPress and I believe she is a very active tea partier. It is an excellent blog. Like you, I’m surprised at the California figures.
