Queen Rania of Jordan – Changing the Middle East one Mind at a Time

Posted on October 16, 2010

Queen Noor, previous Queen of Jordan was so well-known, so effective a link between her native America and her father’s homeland, Jordan, that it was almost inconceivable that Rania or anyone could surpass Noor’s accomplishments.

A mere 11 years as Queen of Jordan,  this brilliant and beautiful consort to King Abdullh is a powerhouse in effective communications – building bridges and educating people.  She not only has her own wesite, she has recently won an award for her YouTube Channel.  Where did this weapon of wisdom come from?

Rania Al-Yassin was born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents from Tulkarm. She attended school at New English School in Jabriya Kuwait, then earned a degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. Upon her graduation from university, Queen Rania returned to Jordan and pursued a career in banking, working for Citibank, followed by a brief career in the field of Information Technology, at Apple Computer in Amman. Her website is remarkably sophisticated and literally draws you in:

Here is the personality that makes her a superior communicator:

Rania also is on twitter and at this writing has over a million followers:

As I hope you can see, her Twitter comment about the rescue of the Chilean miners was beautiful:

But of course she is on Facebook as well.  We all know how SamHenry feels about Facebook.  Everyone has their little faults.
