Obama Resorts to Racial Rant in Rhode Island

Posted on October 25, 2010

Blacks know the pain in the phrase “the back of the bus.”  Barack Obama called up that pain in Rhode Island today.  Dropping down into the state in which he had not endorsed the Democratic gubernatorial candidate, the President roared:

[That] Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.” [AP via Yahoo]

“They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”  Thus the GOP – the WASPS – the upper class – the haves -by alluding to a “ride” and “in back”  have been banished to [the back of the bus,] fulfilling every dream of every black who ever felt oppressed.  Congratulations Mr. President.  It is finally evident that you are NOT the man for the job of bringing us all together.  Your are racist and you are communist.  You are not the image of a President most Americans have in mind.  You are slipping up.  No more silver-tongued oratory – just racial rant.

Remember this John Q. Public.  This was the day that the President called up the ugly image of racial  hatred in America during a key election.  Ah but he did it deftly.  He will not be called on it.  Young people no doubt don’t know what he is talking about except that Republicans belong at the back of the bus.  Any President who loves this country – who is truly of this country – would never dare parse his words in this manner.  Obama is a disgrace to this nation.  Worse, he seems spiraling out of control.  He bears careful watching.
