And God Said: “Where Ever There Be A Hint of Revolution, There Also Will Be Al Sharpeton”

To hear the Reverend Al Sharpeton tell it, Martin Luther King would be more threatening, more, well, Communist, than he was.  First, Sharpeton at his Jobs rally the day before the dedication of the King memorial.

 

And here is MLK himself saying that there are non-violent ways to leverage economic and political power.  That’s the King legacy.

 

We need to remember it is the Al Sharpetons of the world who will remind you that whites shot Dr. King and that the dreamer and not the dream died.  King would not waste his energies in raising any kind of anger other than that stemming from inequality.
